Conway the Machine, The Alchemist drop joint EP, ‘LULU’

Featuring Schoolboy Q and Cormega.

Conway the Machine and The Alchemist have unveiled their joint EP, LULU.

The seven-track project was entirely produced by The Alchemist and features two guest artists, Schoolboy Q (on “Shoot Sideways”) and Cormega (“They Got Sonny”). On the EP, Conway spits gritty bars over The Alchemist’s old-school production.

“Every artist is unique in the way they approach a beat. With Conway, I know what he can do,” The Alchemist told DJBooth on working with the Griselda rapper. “I gotta play him the best beat, and of course, we’re gonna make something that’s gonna twist your face up… The level of his writing ability, the different emotions he could touch… He’s dangerous.”

For Conway, LULU is the follow-up to his 2019 EP, Look What I Became. On the other hand, The Alchemist released The Price of Tea in China earlier this year, a joint album with Boldy James.
