On the track, Conway announces his return over a piano-laced beat, produced by Cardiak. “Machine back, tell them n***as the king back / Let you n***as eat long enough, now I want my thing back,” he spits. “N***as stealin’ my drip, even my picture poses / I just hope before I die, them fuck n***as give me my roses.”

“Blood Roses” is the first taste of Conway’s upcoming album, La Maquina, due out April 16. The record will mark the rapper’s second full-length offering this year, following his collaborative record with Big Ghost Ltd, If it Bleeds it Can Be Killed.

Conway had previously teamed up with Skeese on “Crack in the Nineties” and “Stefon Diggs,” from his 2020 album, From a King to a God. In December, the Griselda rapper released the deluxe edition of the LP.
