Conway the Machine, JID, Ludacris rap “Scatter Brain” on ‘Fallon’

The collab from Conway’s newest album, ‘La Maquina.’

Conway the Machine, JID and Ludacris recently hit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage to perform their collab, “Scatter Brain.”

The song was a standout track on Conway’s newest album, La Maquina. For the moody set, the trio paced a dimly lit stage in between flickering, static-filled TV sets. The eerie setting perfectly matched Don Cannon and CuBeatz’s production, while the three rappers traded boastful and menacing bars.

“You ain’t gangsta / Stop kiddin’ around, bring the toys in, n***a / Luda’s your daddy / You should be happy I’m givin’ you playtime / But none of you rappers could see me / Not even if I was to pick up on FaceTime,” Ludacris rapped.

La Maquina, Conway’s second album of the year, arrived last month. Besides Luda and JID, the record also saw appearances from 2 Chainz, Conway’s Griselda groupmates Westside Gunn and Benny the Butcher, El Camino, Shots, Jae Skeese and 7xvethegenius.
