Coachella has assembled a “Gucci Gang” supergroup

Fans thought the poster of the official 2019 line-up had a typo, but they were wrong.

The Coachella 2019 line-up dropped yesterday, by and large thrilling fans and music observers. But it also miffed hip hop heads who noticed an artist on Sunday billed as “Gucci Gang”—which as you might recall, is the title of a hit song by Lil Pump. But it seems that wasn’t a typo.

A rep for the megafestival confirmed to TMZ that “Gucci Gang” is a real booking, and Coachella’s official website reveals that it’s in fact a supergroup consisting of Gucci Mane, Smokepurpp and Lil Pump.

This has cleared things up a lot for rap fans, who were especially thrown by the image that was initially on the festival’s site: a solo shot of Gucci Mane. As Noisey points out, this was not only confusing, but potentially disrespectful of the Atlanta trap legend.

There are no further details on how this Coachella set will go down. But there’s no doubt we’ll hear this song:
