Los Angeles hip hop trio clipping. have announced their fourth studio album, There Existed an Addiction to Blood, with the single “Nothing is Safe.”

Daveed Diggs paints a vivid picture of a police drug raid over Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson’s ominous, John Carpenter-inspired beat. “Windows boarded and sealed, doors are bolted and locked / Product cookin’ on pace, weaponry fully stocked / Bodies sleepin’ in shifts, other bodies keep watch / Bullets are for anybody caught runnin’ up in the spot,” he raps.

According to a press release, There Existed an Addiction to Blood draws inspiration from the horrorcore subgenre. The 15-track-record will feature Ed Balloon, The Rita, Benny the Butcher, El Camino, Sarah Bernat, La Chat, Counterfeit Madison, Robyn Hood and Pedestrian Deposit. It arrives via Sub Pop on October 18.
