CJ Fly releases debut solo album, ‘Rudebwoy’

Featuring fellow Pro Era members Joey Bada$$ and Kirk Knight.

Pro Era’s CJ Fly unveiled his debut solo album, Rudebwoy.

Executive produced by Statik Selektah, the 13-track record is a nod to the Brooklyn-born MC’s Caribbean heritage. It features contributions from Griselda’s Conway the Machine, as well a fellow Pro Era rappers Joey Bada$$ and Kirk Knight.

Fly previously previewed the album with a rowdy video for the title track, “Rudebwoy.” “The vibes are very Caribbean, energetic and fun,” the rapper previously told Billboard. “In the hook, I’m explaining one way a ‘Rudebwoy’ could be, but also putting a spin on the stigma about Jamaican men.”

CJ Fly is also part of the hip hop supergroup Beast Coast, who released their debut album, Escape from New York, last May.
