City Girls drop Missy Elliott-directed “Twerkulator” visual

Welcome to Twerk City.

City Girls’ TikTok hit “Twerkulator” has received a music video directed by the legendary Missy Elliott.

The visual opens with a warning announcement: “This is an emergency. This is not a test. Everyone, please take shelter immediately! The Twerkulators have already invaded Twerk City, and you don’t have much time. They’ve already landed, and they’re taking over. Run for cover, motherfuckers!”

Quickly, the city is overrun by twerking dancers led by Yung Miami and JT. “It’s time for the twerkulator / It’s time for the twerkulator / I’mma shake what my mama gave me / I’mma shake my money-maker,” the duo spit on the track’s infectious hook as they dance around the city in various colorful outfits.

Last year, City Girls collaborated with Quavo, Lil Wayne, and Jack Harlow for a remix of “Pussy Talk.” In December 2020, the rap duo also made an appearance in Lakeyah’s visual for “Female Goat.”
