Chynna drops off trippy “asmr” MV

Let her whisper in your ear.

Up-and-coming rapper Chynna is back with a moody video for “asmr,” titled after the ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) phenomenon which took social media by storm months ago.

In the LouieKnows-directed clip, the West Philly musician lazes around a dark changing room while musing about unrequited love. “Come break my heart again, baby / You know I love when you do that / You know I come if you do that / Run to the one who don’t run back,” she leisurely raps. The visual also features trippy edits and disorienting transitions between shots.

“[The song is] another sonic version of how I’m feeling, of what’s going on inside my head,” Chynna told Hypebeast. “The ASMR shit is just so funny to me. I’ve heard that I had an ASMR voice and I’m trying to entertain my fans that are into ASMR, trying to be entertaining, as usual.”
