Christian Rich, Jaden Smith reconnect on “Shibuya (Ghost II)”

The track also features Vic Mensa and Belly.

Jaden Smith and production duo Christian Rich have unveiled “Shibuya (Ghost II),” featuring Vic Mensa and Belly. It’s the sequel to their last collab, “Ghost.”

The single, which dropped alongside an animated video, maintains the original’s eerie production with menacing synths and drum beats. The clip, directed by Olivier Lescot, envisions the featured artists as superheroes of a futuristic city. After ridding the city of criminals, they leave the planet through a mysterious portal.

“Visually we created a short film concept to bring a new look to contemporary music but with nostalgic elements that connect the viewer to forgotten childhood adventures,” Christian Rich said in a statement. “We wanted to touch on the cartoons we watched as kids in Nigeria—G-Force, He-Man, stuff that’s nostalgic.”
