Welcome the weekend with two brand-new songs from Chance the Rapper: “The Man Who Has Everything” and “My Own Thing.”

The former is a reflective, downtempo R&B jam that looks back at Chano’s successes and his thoughts on the future. “I gave you free raps / That shit sound like free facts / Which is just as ’bout as common as free blacks,” he spits.

“My Own Thing,” however, flips the mood with its sunny, gospel-inspired melody that echoes Coloring Book tracks such as “All We Got” and “Angels.” Featuring fellow Chicagoan Joey Purp, the spirited song is all about embracing the good things in life and celebrating your worth.

Earlier this summer, Chance dropped a string of surprise singles including “I Might Need Security” and the Supa Bwe-assisted “Wala Cam.” And truthfully, we don’t mind having more.

Listen to his new songs below.
