Chance the Rapper jumps on Saba track, “Logout”

The fresh collab appears on Saba’s new album, ‘Care for Me.’

Five years after Chance the Rapper first recruited Saba on a feature, the latter has returned the favor. His new album Care for Me, which dropped yesterday, features Chano on the standout track, “Logout.”

Both rappers, who hail from Chicago, share a very similar style and flow: low-key, lyrical and like butter, baby, with more musical complexity beyond trap beats and turnt-up verses. Care for Me brings together hip hop, soul, jazz and R&B into one sophisticated package, and “Logout” epitomizes that vibe.

Since Saba’s feature on Acid Rap that brought him into mainstream consciousness, he has worked with Chano on several other tracks. They linked up on Coloring Book and on Surf, an album by Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment. And now, with Care for Me, it looks as though Saba’s star will only rise higher.
