It looks like Cardi B is in hot water again, this time for avoiding an earlier lawsuit over an alleged fan beatdown.

According to a video obtained by The Blast, the rap diva was making her way to the set of her upcoming Netflix show, Rhythm + Flow, when she got served with papers for a lawsuit, which also involves Cardi’s former partner Offset. It was filed by a man named Giovanni Arnold.

The papers claim that the couple have ignored an earlier complaint against them for allegedly sending bodyguards to attack Arnold at last year’s Met Gala after-party. He was reportedly hospitalized for multiple injuries to his face, neck and body.

Arnold explained he had waited to serve Cardi these papers because she “was seven months pregnant at the time of the assault and, out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s wellbeing, […] chose not to immediately serve.”

However, in the video, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper didn’t seem too bothered as she casually ignored the papers and headed inside the building.
