Cardi B jumps on Pardison Fontaine’s new track, “Backin’ it Up”

They go back a long way.

Cardi B has hopped on “Backin’ it Up,” a new track by her longtime friend and collaborator Pardison Fontaine.

The suave, seductive single follows a string of loosies Fontaine—real name Jordan Thorpe—released after his 2015 album, Not Supposed to be Here.

Fontaine was a co-writer on “Bodak Yellow” and “Be Careful,” and has helped Cardi with her “growth and development as a recording artist,” she said on Instagram.

Cardi also appears in the video, which she shot while five and a half months pregnant (!), she revealed in the same Instagram post: “I was cranky as fuck but I knew that it was going to be a hit!”
