Busta Rhymes has teamed up with Vybz Kartel for “The Don & The Boss,” the latest taste of his upcoming album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God.
The infectious dancehall track arrived along with a bootylicious video, which features dance crews in carnival outfits dancing in front of huge murals of both Busta and Vybz. Popular Jamaican comic Majah Hype closes out the video with a skit where he plays three characters who argue about which artist had the song’s best verse.
On the other hand, the song features Busta making a reference to Megan Thee Stallion and channeling his Jamaican heritage. “Shake it fi di don / Get naked fi di don / X-rated fi di don / Best playlist fi di don / Bumpa so big / Like Megan Thee Stallion,” he spits on the chorus.
Last month, Busta announced his upcoming album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, with a hilarious video starring Chris Rock. The album will be the sequel to 1998’s Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front, and marks his first full-length effort since 2012’s Year of the Dragon.
