Buddy, Kent Jamz reimagine famous films in “Bad Boys” MV

A cut from their joint project, ‘Janktape Vol 1.’

Buddy and Kent Jamz have shared a wacky new video for “Bad Boys,” filled to the brim with movie references.

Beyond the obvious reimagining of the Bad Boys franchise, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the duo also reenact scenes from films such as Step Brothers and Pulp Fiction, as well as classic animated sitcom Beavis and Butt-head. Guapdad 4000, one of Buddy’s frequent collaborators, also makes an appearance.

“Black girl at the backyard party / White line, she about to get gnarly / Red flag, she a Hollywood actress / Pink lipstick all on my mattress / Blue strips all up in my pocket / Green kush, that’s just how I like it,” Buddy spits.

“Bad Boys” is a cut from Buddy and Kent Jamz’s joint project, Janktape Vol 1, which arrived earlier this spring. Earlier this month, Buddy called out cultural appropriation on the song “Black 2.”
