Buddy drops new songs on deluxe version of ‘Harlan & Alondra’

    03 Greedo, Thundercat, Flying Lotus and more contribute to the fresh tracks.

    Last July, Buddy made his full-length debut with the acclaimed Harlan & Alondra. And late last week, he refreshed the record by dropping a deluxe version with four new songs.

    With appearances by Snoop Dogg and A$AP Ferg, Harlan & Alondra wasn’t lacking in strong guest features to begin with. But for the deluxe version, the Compton rapper invited yet more friends on board. “Cubicle” features 03 Greedo—who is currently incarcerated—while the appropriately titled “Link Up” is practically a party: Dreamville artists JID, Bas and Ari Lennox appear alongside Kent Jamz and Guapdad 4000 over unmistakable production by Thundercat and Flying Lotus.

    And fans who’ve been craving more of Buddy himself will get plenty on the funky “It’s Love” and meditative “Bad Atittude.” Stream those songs and the original album below:
