Brockhampton release new music video, “If You Pray Right”

The latest single from ‘Ginger.’

Brockhampton are readying the release of their upcoming album, Ginger: “If You Pray Right,” the second song off the project, arrived today along with a music video.

The Spencer Ford-directed clip opens with a close-up of Dom McLennon, who kicks off the song with a lethal verse. “Hallelujah, holy lion‚ word to Judas / How I’m supposed to trust that what you say is the truest? / Halie Selassie‚ insha’Allah if I gotta / Spin my words around as if you wanted a mandala for nirvana,” he spits. Members Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood and Joba soon join him with their own fire bars.

The four-minute-long video ends with a preview of “Hood Still Love Me,” another new track that’s speculated to feature on the upcoming record. In the snippet, Abstract sings about a relationship that’s lost its spark. “I don’t care, don’t take my morning / Take my morning, the hood still love me,” he laments.

Ginger, which will include the previously released single “I Been Born Again,” drops sometime later this month. In the meantime, enjoy “If You Pray Right” below:
