Brockhampton came with an unexpected cover for their performance on Triple J’s Like a Version: Alicia Keys’ “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready).”
There aren’t any signature gang vocals, though. Also unexpected—but not unwelcome—was the boyband’s decision to let Bearface, aka Ciarán Ruaridh McDonald, have the spotlight. The rest of them took a well-deserved break, lying and sitting down on the carpeted studio floor as Bearface took on the song solo, pacing between clusters of candles as he did so.
