Boldy Jackson and The Alchemist share new single, “First 48 Freestyle”

The song will appear on their upcoming album, ‘Bo Jackson.’

Boldy James and mega producer The Alchemist have linked up for a new single called “First 48 Freestyle.”

The track received a straightforward visual in which Boldy smokes and spits bars on a balcony.
“All these self-proclaimed real n***as just a bunch of flakes / Cappin’ like you pressin’, big steppin’, out here touchin’ pape / Really out here Jeffin’, Etch-a-Sketchin’, wouldn’t bust a grape/ Shorty hit him broad day, ain’t even cover up his face,” he rhymes in his free-flowing verse.

“First 48 Freestyle” is the first song that the rapper and producer duo have shared from their newly announced joint album, Bo Jackson. Boldy and Alchemist last teamed up on the 2020 record The Price of Tea in China and joined forces with the Cool Kids and Shorty K for the loosie “Pots and Pans.”

Bo Jackson will be entirely produced by Alchemist, with mixing and mastering done by Eddie Sancho and Joe Laporta. Due out August 13, the record will follow Boldy’s several 2020 LPs, including Real Bad Boldy, The Versace Tape and Manger on McNichols.
