Blueface sends a missive from the “Studio”

    The rising Los Angeles rapper has dropped a new song.

    Blueface has dropped not one but three projects this year, and he isn’t stopping yet. Yesterday, the rising Los Angeles rapper released a new song, “Studio.”

    Produced by Laudiano, who was also behind his breakout song “Respect My Cryppin’,” this new track experiments with Auto-Tune. “When I was down, I hit the studio / Hop in the booth and let the truth be told,” the chorus goes. “Not a stripper but I gotta keep a pole / They gotta pay me now just to get up close.”

    Blueface—real name Johnathan Porter—has good reason to rap about his rising profile. Though he’s been mocked for his strange flow and juvenile rhymes, he’s also been cosigned by YG, Quavo and Drake, who’s already reached out for a collab.
