Blueface, DaBaby get presidential on new song, “Obama”

Another preview of ‘Find the Beat.’

Blueface has released “Obama,” featuring DaBaby, to tide fans over while he continues to work on his much-delayed debut album, Find the Beat.

On the catchy track, the California rapper references former President Barack Obama and current President Donald Trump. “Pull up like Trump and they duck like Donald / Presidential on me just like Obama / My bitch bad just like some karma / I’m pullin’ strings in Balenciaga,” Blueface raps over the jazzy Scum Beatz production.

DaBaby jumps in after with a quick verse about his luxury shoes and celebrity status: “Yeah, I’m lacin’ up strings in them Jordans / I like to wear Gucci with Forces / Your freak wanna fuck me ’cause you not important / I’m the prettiest chocolate n***a that’s alive.”

“Obama” is the fourth single from Blueface’s upcoming Find the Beat LP, following the Jeremih-assisted “Close Up,” “Finesse the Beat” and “First Class,” featuring Gunna. Find the Beat was initially slated for an early December release, but the record did not arrive as expected. A new release date has yet to be confirmed.
