BlocBoy JB remixes Lil Wayne’s “Go DJ”

He was only eight (!) when Weezy released the track in 2004.

The hip hop world rejoiced at Lil Wayne’s triumphant return with Tha Carter V, and now BlocBoy JB is lending his voice to the chorus of praise with his own remix of “Go DJ.”

JB threw it all the way back to 2004 and the very first Tha Carter album for this one. The “Look Alive” rapper flows with ease over the unmistakable Mannie Fresh beat, rapping about everything from his branded threads to fast cars to his sexual prowess.

There’s no word if Weezy has heard this young upstart’s take on “Go DJ” yet, but you can listen to it below:
