Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg spread positivity on “Be Nice”

Written by Adam Friedman, winner of the second episode of ‘Songland.’

Black Eyed Peas—consisting of Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo—have released “Be Nice,” featuring Snoop Dogg.

The uplifting track was written by Adam Friedman, who competed on the second episode of NBC’s Songland, the televised songwriting competition which featured Will.i.am as a guest judge. The accompanying video follows the group at a roller skating rink as they encourage others to “be nice.” Snoop swoops in towards the end to deliver his smooth bars on a neon-lit set.

“Be Nice” follows the trio’s 2018 album, Masters of the Sun Vol 1, which featured songs like “Dopeness” and “Back 2 Hip Hop.” The track is also the second release from Songland, after John Legend’s “We Need Love.”
