Big KRIT has returned with KRIT iz Here, the sequel to his 2010 KRIT wuz Here mixtape.

“For me, it was about also showcasing that I can go different places. It either be singing, live instrumentation, and how I sometimes want to use my vocals as more of an instrument, than just being on the record,” KRIT said of the album in a press release. “Also, tackling certain issues, or how I feel about certain social topics and things like that in my music, but not in a way that people are accustomed to me hearing.”

KRIT iz Here marks the Mississippi rapper’s first full-length since his 2017 double album 4eva is a Mighty Long Time. The release follows a series of EPs, like Thrice X and Double Down, which dropped late last year.
