Big KRIT, Boss Wood collide on “Spaceships”

They’re kicking off 2021 strong.

Rising Florida rapper Boss Wood has recruited Big KRIT for a brand-new single, “Spaceships.”

The track features the rappers exchanging assertive bars over a hypnotic spacey beat produced by Okeefe. They detail their progress since their respective debuts and the efforts they’ve put in to climb up the ladder of success. “We’re just tryna make it outta bottom of the basement,” they chant on the infectious hook. “Hell yeah, turn a bucket to a spaceship.”

“Spaceships” is Wood’s first single since releasing his sophomore EP, Premeditated 2 “The Motive,” last June. Meanwhile, the collab is the latest in a string of one-off songs KRIT has released in the past year, including the holiday banger “Tiz the Season.” The Mississippi native’s last album, KRIT iz Here, arrived in 2019.
