Big Boi, Sleepy Brown perform “We the Ones” remix on ‘Fallon’

Also featuring Killer Mike and Big Rube.

Big Boi and Sleepy Brown recently performed their remix of “We the Ones” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The duo were joined by Big Rube and Killer Mike, both of whom are also featured on the studio version of the remix. Mike replaced CeeLo Green, who contributed to the original “We the Ones,” which appeared on the 2017 EP Organized Noize.

The rappers took to The Tonight Show stage accompanied by giant screens which played footage from the anti-police brutality demonstrations which took place this summer. The performance also opened and closed with spoken word from Big Rube, featured soulful singing from Brown and, of course, included a nod to OutKast.

The remix of “We the Ones” is set to land on Big Boi and Brown’s forthcoming joint album, The Big Sleepover, which will also include “Intentions” and “Can’t Sleep.” The record is expected to arrive by the end of the year, although an official release date has yet to be announced.
