Bhad Bhabie taps Megan Thee Stallion for “Bestie” remix

The buzzy Houston rapper replaces Kodak Black.

Bhad Babie’s “Bestie,” originally a collab with Kodak Black, has just gotten a rework with a new guest artist: Megan Thee Stallion.

The new remix changes things up a little, making you wait for Megan’s hard-nosed bars. When she does appear, she turns the already successful hit into a fresh, female-fronted banger: “I ain’t fightin’ with these hoes, I’m a rich bitch / Hair long, nails long / VVs on my neck, bitch (Necklace) / If you wanna beef with me, I hope you got that fee for me / Foot up on they necks, make it hard for hoes to speak to me.”

The remix arrives amidst reports that radio stations apparently requested that Babie release an alternate version of the song without Black. The rapper was recently condemned by multiple artists and blacklisted by a Los Angeles radio station for his remarks on Lauren London, the partner of the late Nipsey Hussle.

A rep for Babie’s label, Atlantic Records, told Complex that there is no bad blood between the two rappers, and that Babie “wanted to give radio alternative options for the song, so she had another bhad bich join her on the song.”
