Benny the Butcher has teamed up with Smoke DZA for Statue of Limitations, a joint EP produced entirely by Peter Rock.

“[The EP is] produced by a New York legend,” Smoke told Complex. “It’s what a collaboration between two New York spitters should sound like.” Other guests on the EP also hail from New York, from Styles P on “Smoked and Butchered” to Benny’s fellow Griselda Records rappers Conway the Machine (“Bullets”) and Westside Gunn (“7:30”). The project also arrived with a video for “7:30” that gives a brief glimpse into the rappers’ charmed lives, from shows to jewelry and watch shopping.

The same day Statue of Limitations landed, Benny released “Dr Bird’s,” a collaboration with Conway and Westside Gunn. That track previews WWCD, the trio’s upcoming joint record and Griselda Records showcase. Benny’s last release was June’s The Plugs I Met, and Smoke’s was Zour with Green R. Fieldz.
