Benny the Butcher returns with video for “Deal or No Deal”

Another collaboration with producer Daringer.

Benny the Butcher has returned with a video for his new single, “Deal or No Deal.”

The menacing track, produced by frequent collaborator Daringer, marks Benny’s first solo track of the year. The clip features the Griselda MC hanging out with his crew, rapping about his past and rise to fame.

“A brick of yay and a genie, that’s what it takes just to be me / ’Cause I’m too bougie for broke bitches and too gangster for TV / After the RICO, the cash came fast illegal / Y’all cover y’all battered egos in jewelry and Valentino,” he spits.

Earlier this year, Benny appeared on his labelmate Westside Gunn’s album, Pray for Paris. The Buffalo native also recently released a double video for the songs “Da Mob” and “Quarantine,” featuring Rick Hyde and Heem, cuts from his Black Soprano Family collective’s compilation project, Gangsta Grillz X BSF Da Respected Sopranos.

In 2019, Benny was part of two EPs: Statue of Limitations with Smoke DZA and the solo release The Plugs I Met.
