Beast Coast dip their toes into reggae on “Snow in the Stadium”

From their forthcoming album, ‘Escape from New York.’

Beast Coast have unveiled their latest, reggae-tinged single, “Snow in the Stadium.”

On the mellow yet bouncy cut, Erick the Architect (who also produced the beat) drops bars alongside other Beast Coast members Joey Bada$$, Meechy Darko, Kirk Knight, CJ Fly and Issa Gold. The rappers show off their versatility on the mic, rapping—occasionally in patois—about drugs and success. “Beast Coast gang, know where I’m from / Acid tab right on my tongue / This my 47th blunt / Promise this ain’t what you want,” Bada$$ raps.

“Snow in the Stadium” is the third single from the New York-based hip hop supergroup, following “Left Hand” and “Coast/Clear.” All three tracks will feature on Beast Coast’s debut album Escape from New York, out this Friday.
