Bas drops neon-lit MV for “Purge”

A cut from his latest full-length album, ‘Milky Way.’

Bas has dropped fresh visuals for “Purge,” a track from his third studio album Milky Way.

In the video directed by The Rec League, the Dreamville artist segues in and out of retro, neon-lit sets filled with glowing signs. The clip starts off with him hotboxing a car, and things take a psychedelic twist thereafter as the 31-year-old rapper begins his introspective lyrical journey.

On the track, the New York native reflects on getting over someone in a relationship by purging them from his life, so he can reboot himself for the better. Flowing effortlessly over the Christo- and Ron Gilmore-produced instrumental, he delivers lyrics like “I need to reset myself (without you) / I won’t neglect myself (with-without you)” and “I think I’m at my best (with-without you).”
