Bad Bunny debuts his drag persona in “Yo Perreo Sola” MV

He also speaks out against sexual harassment in the clip.

Bad Bunny has released an eye-catching video for “Yo Perreo Sola” (which translates to “I twerk alone”), a cut from his latest album, YHLQMDLG.

In the clip, the Puerto Rican musician makes his drag debut, rocking bright dresses, high heels and fake breasts while performing the track. But no matter the outfit, Bunny dances alone, doubling down on the song’s underlying message that women should be free to dance by themselves in the club without being harassed.

The clip ends with a message in Spanish: “If she doesn’t want to dance with you, respect her. She twerks alone.” And in the video’s colorful closing scenes, a variety of women do just that.

Bad Bunny is no stranger to speaking up against sexism and other kinds of discrimination. Earlier this month, the rapper appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to raise awareness for the murder of Alexa Negrón Luciano, a transgender woman who was killed in Puerto Rico.
