Azealia Banks gets saucy on new single, “Playhouse”

She also released new demos on her SoundCloud page.

When she’s not too busy feuding with celebrities, Azealia Banks sometimes puts out new music. Stepping away from all the bizarre beefs she’s had over the past few months, the rapper has returned with a brand-new song, “Playhouse.”

Like “Anna Wintour,” one of the many singles she dropped in 2018 ahead of her still-unreleased third album, Fantasea II: The Second Wave, “Playhouse” is heavily inspired by house music. Rapping over a sample of Lone’s “Re-Schooling,” Banks drops sexually explicit bars about getting “comfortable enough” on the couch and having some “poom, poom bounce!”

The Slay-Z rapper also recently shared some new demos on her SoundCloud page, which included a cut she did for Rihanna’s Anti. With all this new material from Banks, maybe she’ll drop Fantasea II as well soon.
