A$AP Rocky robs a bank in the video for “Babushka Boi”

A$AP Rocky is wasting no time: Just a couple of weeks after the conclusion of his assault case in Sweden, the rapper has released “Babushka Boi” alongside a satirical video.

The track references a “grandma scarf” (babushka being ‘grandma’ in Russian) that Rocky made headlines for wearing to a gala once—that same look accentuated in the video with gauze and bandages on his face.

The Nadia Lee Cohen-directed visual begins with Rocky and a bunch of convicts escaping from a group of police officers—who are all wearing pig prostheses. Clad in funky-patterned suits, the rapper and his crew then successfully carry out a heist on a local bank.

Rocky spits over a trap beat as he and his crew make their getaway. “I would like to dedicate / To the scar on my face / All the stars of the globe / The world is yours, Scarface,” he rhymes.

A$AP Rocky’s last album, Testing, dropped in 2018. Earlier this year, he dropped a video for Testing cut “Kids Turned Out Fine,” and featured on A$AP Ferg’s “Pups.”
