A$AP Ferg, MadeinTYO reunite on new song, “Wam”

Following last year’s collab, “Ned Flanders.”

A$AP Ferg and MadeinTYO have linked up to drop a new song, “Wam.”

On the menacing track, the rappers brag about their opulent lifestyles over a straightforward beat punctuated by UFO-like synths. “Better not redbone like Cardi / Your ass’ll get smoked, Bob Marley / This ain’t no game, no Atari,” Ferg raps. MadeinTYO comes in on the refrain with a smooth, catchy delivery.

Ferg first premiered “Wam” in a video for Revlon’s Step Out of Line campaign, which focuses on female empowerment. “I love any opportunity to celebrate women, which is exactly what I get to do with Revlon’s Step Out of Line campaign,” said the rapper. “We share a vision, I’m not afraid to live boldly and Revlon encourages women to do the same.”

“Wam” is the second collab between Ferg and MadeinTYO, who previously joined forces on 2018’s “Ned Flanders.” The song is MadeinTYO’s newest music since his 2018 debut LP, Sincerely, Tokyo. It’s also Ferg’s latest release since last month’s “Wigs,” featuring City Girls and ANTHA.

It’s unconfirmed if “Wam” will appear on Ferg’s forthcoming LP Floor Seats, but it’s a possibility. More recently, the A$AP Mob member urged his fans to chant “Free Rocky” at a Ukraine concert in support of A$AP Rocky, who is currently being detained in Stockholm following an alleged assault case.
