Aminé expands ‘Limbo’ with Valee, Saba collabs

Seven new songs on the deluxe edition.

Aminé has added seven new songs to his album Limbo for its deluxe edition.

The fresh tracks appear not at the end of the tracklist, as is usually the case for deluxe editions, but right at the beginning. They include collaborations with Valee (the Disney-referencing “Zack & Cody”), Saba (“Talk”), Toosii (“Chicken”) and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the electronic rock band led by Ruban Nielson (the dreamy “Buzzin”).

They join an already star-studded album with features by JID, Charlie Wilson, Young Thug, slowthai, Vince Staples, Summer Walker and Injury Reserve. Videos released for Limbo include “Shimmy,” “Riri,” “Compensating” and “Woodlawn.” Aminé performed that last track plus “Burden” from a hot air balloon for Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Limbo came two years after the stopgap project ONEPOINTFIVE, which was the Portland rapper’s follow-up to his debut album Good For You.
