A$AP Ferg celebrates his hometown in “Harlem Anthem” video

The song also appears on the official soundtrack for sports comedy flick, ‘Uncle Drew.’

A$AP Ferg has unveiled the visual to “Harlem Anthem,” his latest single for the movie, Uncle Drew. And it’s an homage to his uptown neighborhood at its finest.

In the clip, the Mob rapper spits his rhymes on a rooftop that overlooks Harlem’s oft-neglected but impressive skyline. The video also takes you through the New York City district, featuring famous landmarks and streets like Holcombe Rucker Park and Malcolm X Boulevard. It also includes a cameo by Harlem-bred style icon, Dapper Dan. “Welcome to Harlem / Where the legacies are born,” the Trap Lord sings on the hook.  

Cuts from the film Uncle Drew are also peppered throughout the music video. Check it out below:
