A new posthumous Lil Peep album is in the works

Announced by the late rapper’s mother on Instagram.

A new album of unreleased music from Lil Peep is on the way, according to the late rapper’s mother, Liza Womack.

“Who wants a new Lil Peep album of amazing unreleased music put together by Gus’ mom and the songs’ original collaborators?” read a post, signed off by Womack, that was uploaded Sunday afternoon on the late rapper’s Instagram account. “You have been asking for this, and I can’t wait to give it to you.”

Womack has previously lent her support to other posthumous Peep releases, including Come Over When You’re Sober Pt 2. The record includes songs like “Life is Beautiful” and “Runaway,” which got a video directed by Womack.

This may not be the only posthumous Peep album in the works. ILoveMakonnen previously announced a joint project due out later this year, consisting of songs he and Peep worked on together in 2017, including the Fall Out Boy-assisted “I’ve Been Waiting.”
