21 Savage’s manager teases sequel to ‘Savage Mode’

    Is a follow-up to the rapper’s 2016 Metro Boomin collab coming soon?

    A sequel to 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode project might be on the way. 

    21 Savage’s manager Meezy recently took to Instagram to post a picture that simply read, “Savage Mode 2,” teasing a follow-up to the pair’s 2016 joint effort. He also tagged the two musicians in the post. However, details of a release date and official tracklist have not yet been revealed. Check out the post below:

    Earlier this month, HotNewHipHop fueled rumors of a new collaboration between 21 and Young Metro after the duo were spotted in the recording studio cooking up some new music. Yesterday, the Slaughter King himself declared on Instagram that “hot girl summer is over” and told fans to welcome a new season: “Fuckboy fall.” 

    Savage Mode spawned hits like “No Heart” and “Feel it,” and included the Future-assisted “X.” In April, Metro enlisted 21 for “Don’t Come Out the House,” a standout on the former’s latest album, Not All Heroes Wear Capes.
