2 Chainz gets a pedicure during NPR ‘Tiny Desk’ performance

He also performed songs from his latest album, ‘So Help Me God!.’

2 Chainz is the latest musician to record a performance for the home edition of NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series.

The Atlanta rapper performed the set from his high-end nail studio Pamper (which he noted is adjacent to his Escobar Restaurant & Tapas lounge and sits right across the street to a mural of his son). The rapper performed So Help Me God! cuts such as “Grey Area,” “Southside Hov” and “Vampire.” He also took fans back in time to his 2017 LP Pretty Girls Like Trap Music with “Good Drank,” as well as his 2012 smash hit “I’m Different.” In between songs, Chainz even had time for a champagne-soaked pedicure.

2 Chainz’s Tiny Desk performance is the latest in NPR’s celebration of Black History Month 2021. Other musicians who have recently appeared on the concert series include Rick Ross, KeiyaA, Meshell Ndegeocello and GIVĒON.
