ZHU’s brand-new album ‘Ringos Desert’ has arrived

Featuring collaborations with Tame Impala and TOKiMONSTA.

The wait is officially over: ZHU’s highly anticipated album, Ringos Desert, has landed.

Dark basslines and airy vocals are something we’ve come to know and love from the “Hometown Girl” producer. And Ringos Desert is no different. It’s dramatic, chilling and at times shamanic—a record that wouldn’t sound out of place at Burning Man.

It’s a star-studded 14-track LP, featuring cameos from the likes of TOKiMONSTA, Tame Impala and Majid Jordan. But the standout here is “Desert Woman,” a track that opens with a rolling, tension-inducing melody. Atmospheric layers build to a dramatic climax, before revealing the lead synth hook, which will be raising hands in dark techno clubs for the rest of 2018.
