Nineteen-year-old producer Whethan has been making some major waves lately. After remixing tracks from the likes of Zayn and Ty Dolla $ign, the Chicago-based DJ has also dropped a series of smashes including “Savage” and “Be Like You.” And it looks like his latest, “Superlove,” is set to continue his rise to the top.
This time, Whethan’s teamed up with London-based synth pop duo Oh Wonder—who lend their light, airy vocals to the contemporary production. “I been looking at your face, it’s dangerous / Making me so goddamn crazy,” the duo sing over a gentle beat at the beginning of the track.
When the chorus kicks in, Whethan’s classy production knocks harder and the drop dances around the vocal hook from which the track gets its title: “My love for you is superlove / Superlove.”
