Watch Diplo “Do Si Do” in the desert in his new video

Blanco Brown features on the cut from his ‘Snake Oil’ country album.

Diplo has released a music video for “Do Si Do,” the latest single from his country album Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil.

On the song’s hook, guest star Blanco Brown encourages listeners to “throw it down and do si do.” Diplo and choreographer Sara Bivens do exactly that in the light-hearted music video, donning a selection of cowboy outfits to square dance under the desert sun.

Besides Brown, who made a splash last year with his viral hit “The Git Up” and released the album Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs, Diplo’s foray into country featured the Jonas Brothers, Noah Cyrus, Orville Peck, Zac Brown and Thomas Rhett, among other artists.

In an interview with Rolling Stone last month, Diplo confirmed that the sequel to Snake Oil is on the way.

“I’ve already started writing some ideas,” the producer revealed. “[Chapter 1: Snake Oil] is a kind of a collection of pop stuff I wrote that I made more country. But as I got more into it, I was starting to listen to more Leon Bridges and working with him, and I really love ‘July’ by Noah Cyrus and some of these folky records. I think there’s something really big to be done with those kind of records, so I’ve been writing a couple ideas. I’m gonna try to get it out before the year’s over.”
