Toro Y Moi revives Les Sins moniker for joint EP with AceMo

‘C’mon Les’ Go’ is the first Les Sins material in six years.

Toro Y Moi—aka Chaz Bear—has dusted off his Les Sins project to release C’mon Les’ Go, a joint EP with AceMo.

The last Les Sins release was the 2014 album Michael. C’mon Les’ Go marks the debut release for New York producer AceMo’s freshly announced label Sonic Messengers, with a touch of help from Bear’s own Company Records.

On the EP’s Bandcamp page, the pair explain that C’mon Les’ Go rose out of “nervous laughs from meeting for the first time in the bay, to jams and experimentations, then sown [sic] together remotely, with mutual thought and a feeling to create something together.”

Bear’s last Toro Y Moi album Outer Peace dropped in 2019. This year, he’s collaborated with both Flume and The Mattson 2.

AceMo, on the other hand, released A New Dawn and EP2 with MoMa under their collaborative project AceMoMa, as well as his own solo LP Mind Jungle.
