TOKiMONSTA—real name Jennifer Lee—has shared “Renter’s Anthem,” the latest track from her new album Oasis Nocturno, which is out tomorrow.
“Renter’s Anthem” is a late-night midtempo track that bounces through its four-minute lifespan with the help of chopped vocal melodies. “This is a little dance tune to help brighten your day. Keep spreading love and positivity, we all need it right now,” Lee commented on YouTube.
This new track is the latest preview of Oasis Nocturno, following “One Day” featuring Bibi Bourelly and Jean Deaux, “Fried for the Night” featuring EarthGang and “Love That Never.” Other guests on the album include Dumbfoundead, VanJess, Sunni Colón, Drew Love and Rosehardt.
The last TOKiMONSTA album, Lune Rouge, arrived in 2017 and scored Lee a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 61st Grammy Awards. It was the producer’s first album following multiple brain surgeries that left her briefly unable to utilize and understand language.
