TOKiMONSTA has announced her fourth studio album, Oasis Nocturno, with a new song, “Fried for the Night,” featuring Dreamville duo EarthGang.
In the accompanying video, TOKiMONSTA investigates a mysterious car parked outside her home which transports her to a turnt-up party with EarthGang. Things then take a strange turn, as colorful plants start to grow on the Atlanta duo while fire shoots from TOKiMONSTA’s eyes.
“EarthGang brought their special magic to the studio and we made something otherworldly,” TOKiMONSTA said in a press statement. “This song is dedicated to those psychedelic moments where our reality opens up a new point of view.”
Oasis Nocturno is the much-anticipated follow-up to the producer’s Grammy-nominated 2017 album, Lune Rouge. The record arrives March 20 via her label Young Art Records.
Last December, she released an animated video for “Love That Never,” in collaboration with Australian studio Babekühl. Meanwhile, EarthGang released the track “Still Up” earlier this week for the deluxe edition of Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III.
