TNGHT drop “Serpent,” their first single in six years

A wild, eclectic ride.

Electronic duo TNGHT—aka producers Hudson Mohawke and Lunice—have returned from their six-year hiatus with “Serpent.”

The song, which is an eclectic mash of percussion and choppy vocals, dropped alongside an equally peculiar video. The trippy clip features CGI versions of the producers, whose faces and lips contort along to the vocals in the song. The visual also includes shots of a sunrise, the moon and a thunderstorm.

TNGHT made their debut in 2012 with their acclaimed eponymous EP, but went on hiatus in late 2013 to embark on solo careers. Mohawke released his sophomore album Lantern in 2015, while Lunice made his solo debut with CCCLX in 2017.
