Teebs, Sudan Archives share hypnotic collab “Black Dove”

‘Anicca’ arrives next week.

Hip hop producer Teebs has teamed up with Sudan Archives for “Black Dove,” a track off the former’s upcoming album, Anicca.

On the track, Teebs—real name Mtendere Mandowa—melds hypnotic synths and fluttering beats with Sudan Archives’ entrancing vocals. “Wasn’t looking for love / But I prayed for someone / Will you confide in me? Do you believe in me?” she questions on the chorus.

Sudan Archives—aka Brittney Parks—is one of many collaborators on Teebs’ upcoming album Anicca, which also features Panda Bear, Mndsgn and Anna Wise. In a press statement, Mandowa lauded the violinist/vocalist as “a scary genius who deserves the world’s ears and eyes.”
