Tchami and Curbi have dropped their first collaboration “Make Amends,” tapping Kyan Palmer to guest on the summery future house single.
“Make Amends” layers Palmer’s colossal vocals over an emotive piano progression, shuffle beat and stellar production. The pulsating house track arrived with a stylized music video depicting the high energy sets both Tchami and Curbi regularly deliver.
“[It] was a huge honour to work with Tchami on this one—he was a big inspiration of mine when I started making music as a 15 year old and still is to this day,” Curbi gushed on Instagram. “Also a big shoutout to Kyan Palmer for the catchy as hell vocal, really happy with these vibes & glad we could twist dance music a little.”
Tchami released his debut solo album Year Zero last year, while Curbi delivered a steady run of singles, such as “Take Me There” with Mike Williams, “Jaw Drop” and “Navigator” starring AC Slater. “Make Amends” is also Palmer’s first song for 2021, arriving as a part of the new era following his 2019 collaboration with nicopop., It’s Called Branding, Sweetie.
