SOPHIE, Juliana Huxtable make their debut as Analemma

“Plunging Asymptote” appears on трип Records’ new compilation album.

Scottish producer SOPHIE and Shock Value co-founder Juliana Huxtable have released “Plunging Asymptote,” their first song under the moniker Analemma.

The track will appear on Locus Error, a forthcoming double-vinyl compilation by Nina Kraviz’s label трип Records, alongside the duo’s other contribution, “Liminal Crisis.” The pair’s new songs combine “trance elements, metallic and corporeal sound design with vintage euphoria,” according to the album’s Bandcamp page.

Locus Error also includes contributions from Canadian producer Ryan James Ford, Berlin-based DJ Carlota, Italian native Alan Backdrop and more. The record is due out December 13.
